Fees & Terms (Texas) – Credit Access Business (CAB)

Effective Date: June 15, 2025

This page provides general fee and term information for Texas consumers. Your exact fees, repayment schedule, and total cost will be provided to you in writing before you sign any agreement.


1) Credit Access Business (CAB) Disclosure

Loan Credit USA operates as a Credit Access Business (“CAB”) under Chapter 393 of the Texas Finance Code. A CAB is not a lender. A CAB provides credit access services, which may include assisting a consumer in obtaining a loan from a third-party lender and providing related administrative services.

CAB Fee: The fee charged by the CAB for its services is disclosed in your Credit Services Agreement. This CAB fee may vary based on the amount advanced, loan structure, and other factors permitted by Texas law. The CAB fee is not interest and is separate from any interest and/or fees charged by the lender.

Important: You will receive and review all required disclosures and agreements before signing. If you do not agree to the fees or terms, you may decline to proceed.


2) Licensing & Regulatory Information (OCCC)

This business operates as a Texas Credit Access Business and is subject to regulation and examination by the Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner (OCCC).

We provide consumers the required disclosures in the format prescribed by Texas law and OCCC rules.


3) General Loan Terms (Summary)

Item Description
Products Consumer loans arranged through a CAB with third-party lenders (may be unsecured or secured depending on product and lender).
Amount Advanced Varies based on eligibility and lender underwriting. Your approved amount is disclosed prior to signing.
Term / Duration Varies. Some products may be single-payment; others may be installment loans. Your exact schedule is disclosed before signing.
Interest Interest (and any lender fees) are charged by the third-party lender and disclosed in the lender’s loan agreement.
CAB Fee vs. Interest CAB fees are for credit access services and are not interest. Lender interest is separate and disclosed by the lender.
Early Payoff You may pay off the loan early. Any lender prepayment policies are disclosed in the lender agreement.

The examples below are provided to help consumers understand typical cost components. Your actual CAB fee, lender interest, total of payments, and total cost will be disclosed in writing before you sign.

Note: Texas requires CABs to use the current prescribed disclosure formats for consumer disclosures. The examples above are website summaries only and do not replace the written disclosures you receive before signing.


6) Payments, Authorizations & Returned Payments

If you authorize electronic payments (ACH, debit card, or other permitted methods), the authorization terms and your payment schedule will be provided before signing. If a payment is returned or rejected, fees may apply as disclosed.

  • Returned payments / NSF: If applicable, disclosed in writing prior to signing.
  • Late payments: If applicable, disclosed in the lender agreement.

7) Default and Collections

If you miss a payment or otherwise default, your account may be subject to additional actions permitted by law and disclosed in your agreements, which may include collection activity and possible legal action.

9) Frequently Asked Questions

Am I borrowing money from Loan Credit USA?

No. As a Credit Access Business, we provide credit access services. The loan is provided by a third-party lender.

Is the CAB fee the same as interest?

No. CAB fees are for credit access services and are not interest. Lender interest is disclosed in the lender’s loan agreement.

Can I see all fees before I sign?

Yes. You receive written disclosures and agreements showing fees, schedules, and total costs before signing.

Do you offer installment loans?

Product availability varies by lender and eligibility. Your loan structure (single-payment or installment) is disclosed before signing.

Where will the CAB license number be displayed?

It will be posted in the “Licensing & Regulatory Information” section above as soon as it is available.
